Straight answers on buying, financing, and service in Mexia

What people ask us most

Pricing a truck, getting pre-approved, or trying to get service on the books, most of what folks call and ask is answered below.

Buying and financing

Yes. If the exact Silverado or Sierra you want is not sitting here, we can check what is already built and headed our way, and we can place a factory order for the cab, bed, engine, and trim you actually want.

A factory order takes longer than driving off in something we already have. Call us at (254) 633-2675 and we will tell you honestly what the wait looks like and whether something in transit gets you there sooner.

Yes, and we would rather you did. The online application takes a few minutes on your phone. Knowing your number before you make the drive means you shop by payment instead of guessing on the lot.

It cuts down the paperwork on this end too, so most of the desk work is done before you walk in the door.

One lender saying no is not the end of it. We place loans with a range of lenders, including GM Financial, and our finance manager will tell you straight what it would take: a bigger down payment, a cosigner, a different vehicle at a lower payment, or a few months of cleanup first.

We would rather give you an honest answer today than string you along for a week.

Yes. Some come from GM and some come from us, and they turn over month to month. Truck rebates are usually the biggest ones, but what applies depends on the cab, the trim, and how you finance it.

Give us the stock number and we will pull the current programs on that specific unit rather than quote you something that turns out not to apply.

Sometimes. GM sets the rules on which rebates stack, and some are tied to financing through GM Financial or to eligibility like military, first responder, or supplier programs.

Bring us the vehicle you are looking at and we will show you everything that applies to it and what the payment looks like with all of it on.

Call (254) 633-2675 or come by 1100 East Milam Street and tell us which vehicle you have your eye on. We will confirm what you qualify for and put the numbers on paper the same visit.

Yes. Our finance office can walk you through GM protection plans and other coverage that picks up where the factory warranty stops.

We will show you what a plan covers, what it does not, and what it adds to the monthly payment. If it does not pencil out for how you drive, we will tell you that too.

Most plans run alongside your factory warranty and become the coverage you lean on once the factory term runs out. Start dates and mileage limits vary by plan, so ask us to point them out on the contract before you sign.

Often, yes. It comes down to age, mileage, and condition. Tell us what you are buying, or what you already own, and we will check what is available for it.

It depends more on the vehicle than on the buyer. Newer, lower-mileage units have the most options. You do not have to have bought it from us to ask, so bring it by and we will look it up.

Service and repairs

Go by the schedule in your owner's manual and the oil life monitor on the dash. For most Chevrolet and GMC vehicles that means an oil change and tire rotation on a regular interval, with bigger inspections layered in as the miles add up.

If your truck tows, hauls, runs gravel, or sits in Texas heat all summer, it is working harder than average and should come in sooner. Tell us how you actually use it and we will set an interval that fits.

Yes. We stock and order tires for cars, trucks, and SUVs and mount them here. Our service department also handles rotations, balancing, and alignment checks.

On a work truck, tires are the easiest thing in the world to run too long. Have us look at them next time it is in for an oil change and we will tell you where they stand.

Call us at (254) 633-2675 before you do anything else and tell us what happened. Depending on the damage we will either take care of the repair here or point you to the right shop and help you get the vehicle there.

Do not guess at whether it is safe to drive. Let somebody look at it first.

Call (254) 633-2675 and we will help you sort out the tow. If your Chevrolet or GMC is still inside its factory warranty it very likely includes roadside assistance, and we can walk you through using it so you are not paying out of pocket.

Ask when you book the appointment. It depends on the day and on how long the repair will take, and warranty or insurance work will sometimes cover a rental.

We will tell you upfront what we can do rather than leave you standing in the drive that morning wondering how you are getting to work.

Yes. We will work with your adjuster on the estimate and the approvals so you are not stuck relaying messages back and forth between them and us.

Depends on the job and on parts. Brakes, oil, and tires are usually same day. Bigger work waits on parts availability, and anything going through insurance waits on approval on top of that.

We will give you a real estimate when we write it up, and we will call you if it slips. You should not have to chase us for a status.

Yes. Routine maintenance and most common repairs are no trouble regardless of the badge on the grille. Where we are strongest is GM, since that is what we carry the factory tooling, training, and parts for.

A steady light means get it looked at soon. A flashing light means stop driving it and call us, because that usually points at something that will take the catalytic converter with it if you keep going.

We pull codes with GM equipment that talks to your vehicle's modules directly, so we can tell you what is actually wrong instead of reading a generic code off a parts-store scanner and guessing.

Call (254) 633-2675, tell us where you are and what it did, and we will help you figure out how to get the vehicle to us and get it in line. If you are still under factory warranty, roadside assistance may cover the tow.

GM usually mails owners directly, but the fastest way is to give us your VIN and let us look it up. Open recall work on a Chevrolet or GMC is done at no charge to you.

Call (254) 633-2675 with the VIN and we will have an answer for you the same day.

Yes. Use the after-hours drop box at the service entrance. Fill out an envelope with your name, phone number, and what the vehicle needs, put the keys inside, and drop it in the box.

We will call you in the morning before any work starts.
